In 2009 after 20 years of working at Laguna Honda Hospital, Dr Kerr became a whistleblower by exposing conflicts of interest in 2 City contracts and the misappropriation of donated money from the Laguna Honda Patient Gift Fund. Shortly thereafter, he both lost his job as a result of retaliation. Dr Kerr was totally unprepared for the experience of becoming whistleblowers. Hopefully, the information provided in this page will help others to navigate the unique experience of whistleblowing.
